Photofacial IPL

The IPL PHOTOFACIAL is a non-invasive treatment that effectively treats fine lines, hyperpigmentation, age spots and sun damage. In addition to minimizing these imperfections, it also evens the overall skin tone and stimulates collagen production, making your skin appear fresh and youthful. The IPL PHOTOFACIAL can be tailored to your specific skin type and needs, providing you with superior cosmetic results and high satisfaction.

HOW IT WORKS

A broad spectrum of light is transmitted with the IPL hand piece through a small, smooth and transparent light guide, which is gently placed over your skin. The light penetrates the tissue and is absorbed by either the blood when treating vascular lesions or the melanin when treating pigmented lesions damaging them. The body’s natural processes then remove the injured tissue, giving the skin a more evened tone and texture, and a more youthful appearance.

  • Improve sun damage, freckles, or hyperpigmentation

  • Improve the appearance of redness or rosacea

  • Improve the appearance of brown pigmentation and age spots

  • Even out your skin tone

  • Rejuvenate your skin with very minimal down time

WHERE ON THE BODY CAN IPL PHOTOFACIAL BE USED?

The IPL PHOTOFACIAL can be used to treat a variety of areas on the body, with the most common areas being the face, neck, chest and hands.

WHAT IS AN IPL PHOTOFACIAL TREATMENT LIKE?

The IPL PHOTOFACIAL treatment is a non-invasive procedure. During an IPL PHOTOFACIAL, a cold gel is usually applied to the treatment area and you are then given dark glasses or goggles to protect your eyes from the bright light. The pulses of light are then applied to the treatment area, and you may feel a light stinging. Each treatment typically takes about 30-45 minutes.

HOW MANY OFFICE VISITS ARE REQUIRED?

With each treatment you will see gradual improvement, which yields excellent long-term results with very low risk and little or no downtime. Most patients note improvement even after the first treatment, and a series of 4-6 treatments will produce the best results.
